The gunwales on rowboats tend to be heavier, particularly the outer pair, to handle to repeated strain of the oar being drawn through the water and placing considerable force where the rowlock sockets are mounted.
For the Stoney Lake, the INNER gunwales measure 7/8" x 7/8" x 17' and the OUTERS measure 15/16" x 1 1/4" x 17 feet. The wood is white ash and comes to you planed on four faces.
For the Rice Lake, the INNER gunwales measure 7/8" x 7/8" x 15' and the OUTERS measure 15/16" x 1 1/4" x 15 feet.
For the Whitehall, dimensions are 7/8" x 1" inner, 7/8" x 7/8" outer, white ash.
