Builder’s Forum

An interactive service we provide to encourage communication amongst builders. The forum is moderated by volunteer Glen Smith who is an experienced builder. The forum is not monitored regularly by Ted or Joan so please contact us directly if you wish. The booklet includes all of the Bear Mountain plans since 1977 including Capacity and Stability chart. The chart was developed by yacht designer, Steve Killing and it compares all of our designs so that builders will be able to make informed design choices based on technical information. Steve’s ability to translate the science of yacht design into terms that everyone can understand is a unique feature of the Bear Mountain plans. This catalogue will be a useful addition to your workshop library.
