anyone used a Grey Owl Bentshaft 12° paddle?

I was thinking about building a paddle based on the Grey Owl Bentshaft. I thought it looked quite nice. Since my canoe isn't built yet, I won't be trying out paddles any time soon! Anyways, I enjoy making paddles at the same time as doing a boat so I'm sure I'll end up making more paddles in the future.

For the layup I was going to try walnut and alaskan yellow cedar laminations, with wrc and maple for the blade (with maybe a couple of walnut pieces for accent). 'das good plan, ja?
