There sure is a lot of building experience in that picture, Walter and Ted. It is a hobby to us but a life to them. If any one is ever near Peterborough , go to the Canadian Canoe Museum and you will find out a lot about Walter Walker, Happy Birthday Walter, may your canoes float forever!

Sad indeed. I was interested to read of his connection with theCanadian Canoe Museum and that the CCM is given as an option for donations to be made in his memory. Those in Saskatoon (and other cities across western Canada) will have the opportunity next week to make a donation to the CCM at the National Treasure presentation (October 28th, admission by donation).
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to learn more about Walter Walker.

I can't believe it's been a whole year now without our old friend Walter Walker. I took a few minutes today and read the chapter on Walter in "The Canoe". So many builders were blessed to have met him and all builders will benefit from the information he so freely shared. Rest in Peace Walter.
