Rounding off inner stem???
I'm preparing to fiberglass the inside of my canoe and as a look at the inner step inside the boat (see picture) it seems the end of the stem is inviting stubbed toes. I'm considering tapering it down to about 1/2 it's current thickness and rounding off the end. Does anyone see any problem with this?
Thanks for whatever advice you can provide.

Re: Rounding off inner stem???
No picture was posted but if I understand you right, you missed a key step at the beginning of the project (rounding over the inside stem before mounting it on the form). You can round it over now (it will just be a bit harder to do with all that stripping in the way).
Enjoy the rest of your build!
