Ted’s dedication to continually improve his techniques with simpler systems, user-friendly materials and creative new designs is at the core of his company. Ted’s books Kayakcraft and Kayaks You Can Build, which was co-written with Greg Rossel, document his techniques allowing readers to benefit from his long career as a boat builder and are a valuable addition to any library. He measures his success in the thousands of Bear Mountain canoes and kayaks that emerge from home workshops around the world each year.
